SEEKING OPPONENT FOR MARCH 20 GAME AT VETS! Seeking opponent to play a 12:30 game at VETS next Saturday, 3/20 (we cover field/refs). We are also looking to fill dates through June. Moreno Valley, Barstow & the DSNY Toughest (New York City Sanitation Department team) have confirmed a visit to the Beach this Spring! We apologize in advance to our fans if we are unable to find a quality opponent next Saturday. It wasn't our fault-we had a team back out on us. News flash: the Mercury will play on the 20th if they have adequate players at their Sunday practice...we'll let you know Sunday evening! ALL-AMERICANS WIN AT VETS LAST SATURDAY! Every card in the deck was stacked against us Saturday when we played the Ventura County Badgers police team at VETS Stadium. The weather was torrid. We only had 16 players (just 3 legit linemen), and we were out-weighed by at least 35 lbs-per man. Despite the odds, we came out victorious 20-15, moving our 2010 record to 1-1.
